Many of you know by now that we took a trip to Peru back in November, staying in Cusco and trekking the Salkantay Trail. And after 4 days of hiking nearly 50 miles, testing our limits and seeing terrain that ranged from rolling greens to glacier covered mountains, we finally arrived at our Everest: Machu Picchu. And I feel pretty confident in speaking for everyone that this was a treasured special moment - one that will linger with us for a lifetime. And maybe even after that...

Absolutely beautiful! Machu Picchu is so high up on my bucket list - it's actually one of our possible honeymoon destinations :)

Oh, wow. What an absolutely amazing trip! Being able to overcome hiking challenges is quite the achievement, too. I love that feeling!
